A storm rolls through the neighborhood.
A dozen homeowners on the same street need an inspection by morning, and they're all calling the same handful of roofers. The one who calls back first doesn't just get that job — they get the whole street talking.

Built around how roofers actually work.
Storm season means every lead arrives at once
One hailstorm can produce twenty quote requests in a single day, all wanting an inspection before the insurance adjuster shows up. Whoever gets there first — not whoever's cheapest — usually wins the job.
Insurance-driven jobs move on someone else's timeline
A lot of roofing leads are tied to an insurance claim with its own deadline. A slow response doesn't just lose the job, it can cost the homeowner their claim window — and they'll remember which roofer left them hanging.
Inspections happen up a ladder, not at a desk
Nobody's checking a lead-gen dashboard from a roof. DibsText texts the request straight to your phone, so it's waiting when you climb down instead of buried in an inbox you won't open until tonight.
A missed call after a storm looks like you're overwhelmed
When your phone's ringing nonstop after a big storm, some calls will go to voicemail. Every missed caller lands on your phone as a text with their number, so none of them fall through while you work the list.
