Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how UberBad LLC ("UberBad," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the DibsText service (the "Service"). It applies both to businesses that create an account ("Customers") and to people who submit a lead form through a Customer's widget ("Leads").

2. Information We Collect

From Customers: name, business name, email address, phone numbers you provide (your own alert number and, once assigned, your dedicated texting number), and billing information (handled directly by our payment processor — we don't store full card numbers).

From Leads: name, phone number, and any message submitted through a Customer's widget, along with the timestamp, IP address, and originating page URL of that submission — captured to document consent to be contacted by text.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate the Service — sending the automatic text reply and owner alert, and displaying leads on a Customer's dashboard;
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • To process payments for paid subscriptions;
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or misuse; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Consent & Text Messaging Data

No mobile information — including text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — is shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.

A Lead's phone number and consent record are used only to deliver the specific text messages described in Section 3, and are visible only to the Customer whose widget the Lead submitted.

5. How We Share Information

We share information with the following service providers strictly to operate the Service, under their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication;
  • Twilio — SMS delivery;
  • OpenAI — used narrowly to categorize a lead's message into a service type; message content is not used to train third-party models;
  • Stripe — payment processing for Customer subscriptions.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

6. Data Retention

We retain Customer account data for as long as the account is active. We retain Lead data (including consent records) for as long as the associated Customer account is active, or as needed to comply with legal or recordkeeping obligations.

7. Your Rights

Leads: reply STOP to any text to opt out immediately, or reply HELP for assistance and a contact number.

Customers: you can access or update your account information from your dashboard, or email us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level database security — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service.
